Behavioral Health Center
for ADA
The Behavioral Health Center provides comprehensive diagnostic and outpatient treatment to persons experiencing a wide variety of personal, emotional and psychological problems.
Who is eligible?
Services are offered to persons of every age group by a skilled professional team, including a psychiatrist, nurse practitioners and licensed therapists. Family Service Association received its license as an outpatient mental health clinic from the MA Department of Public Health in 1985.
“Therapy” is maintained in order to address specific community problems and needs. Counseling can be provided at the Behavioral Health Center as well as in clients' homes, schools or offices.
Our professional counseling team can help you and your family to address a variety of concerns, including:
- Depression
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Anxiety and Panic Attacks
- Attention Deficit Disorder
- Bipolar Disorder
- Individual and family stress
- Issues relating to separation and divorce
- Parenting, single parenting and co-parenting
- Postpartum Depression and Anxiety
- Grief and loss issues
- Problems affecting your ability to work productively
- Issues affecting children and adult survivors of trauma

In order to maximize the accessibility of services, home visits are offered to those unable to make office visits. In addition, day and evening appointments are available. The needs of the non-English speaking community are met by our skilled, multilingual counseling staff. This includes services in Portuguese, Spanish and Khmer. Most third party health insurance plans are accepted, including MassHealth.
