Quality Service:

Every child deserves access to a healthy, safe, productive and nurturing environment. We believe that day care services must be administered by qualified personnel who promote positive social behavior through developmentally appropriate and stimulating activities that meet the educational, social, emotional and recreational needs of our families.

A Licensed Program:

The After School Day Care program is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. That means our program has exceptionally high standards for the health, safety and education of all children in child care.

Staffing:

The program is staffed by highly qualified and experienced service staff. It provides a theme-based curriculum that integrates art, math, literacy, science and physical education, as well as homework assistance, tutoring, community-based activities, creative summer programming, field trips and summer camp. Transportation is provided from all schools during the academic year.

Supervision for children at the sites is conducted at a worker to child ratio of no more than 1 to 13.

Hours of Operation/Locations

When school is in session, our program operates Monday to Friday immediately after school until 5:30 PM, including partial school days. We also operate during vacation weeks and summertime from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Transportation to and from the After School Day Care site is available to qualified families. Costs / Income Eligibility:

Fees are determined using the EEC sliding fee scale and are based upon income and family size. We offer subsidized and unsubsidized childcare as well as supportive services through the Department of Children and Families. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts provides subsidization for eligible families. Families that do not meet EEC eligibility requirements are enrolled as public, non-subsidized. Fees for public, non-subsidized families are assessed using a sliding fee scale.

The program is supported by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, the USDA, PACE Child Care Works, and the Fall River Public Schools.
