Behavioral Health Center:

Family Service Association received its license as an outpatient mental health clinic in 1985. Our professional Behavioral Health Center staff provides individual, couples and family therapy designed to address a wide variety of personal, emotional and psychological problems. Comprehensive diagnosis and treatment are offered by a skilled professional team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners and licensed clinical social workers.

Therapy and support groups are maintained in order to address specific community problems and needs. Counseling is provided at the agency's clinic office as well as in clients' homes, schools or offices.
 
Our professional counseling team can help you and your family with:

• Anxiety and Panic Attacks
• Attention Deficit Disorder
• Bipolar Disorder
• Individual and family stress
• Issues relating to separation and divorce
• Parenting, single parenting and step-parenting

• Couples counseling
• Problems affecting your ability to work productively
• Issues affecting children and adult survivors of trauma
 
In order to maximize the accessibility of services, home visits are offered to those unable to make office visits. In addition, day and evening appointments are available.
 
The needs of the non-English speaking community are met by our skilled, multilingual counseling staff. This includes services in Portuguese, Spanish and Khmer.
 
Most third party health insurance plans are accepted, including MassHealth.
